Download
Follow these instructions:
Check you have Adobe Acrobat (Standard or Professional) - not the free Reader version. No fuss only works with paid versions. You can get Adobe Acrobat here.
2. Download the zip file here.
3. Expand the downloaded ZIP file. Copy and paste the contents (not the folder) to the Javascripts folder of your Adobe Acrobat installation:
I have a PC....
Typically your Adobe Acrobat will be installed at C:/Program Files (x86)/Adobe/Adobe Acrobat DC/Acrobat/Javascripts.
If you can't find it:
Open the Start Menu. Search for Adobe Acrobat (not the free Reader version)
Right-click on the program icon of Adobe Acrobat
Click 'Open file location'.
If this brings up a short-cut to Adobe Acrobat, right-click on the short-cut and click 'Open file location'.
The Javascripts folder will be listed. Double-click on it.
Copy and paste the javascript files to this location. You may need authority from the administrator to do this.
I have a Mac...
Go to your applications folder in Finder. Use short-cut Ctrl/Shift/A.
Right click on the installation of Adobe Acrobat (not the free Reader version)
Select 'Show package contents'
Go to Contents/Resources/Javascripts.
4. To find the buttons for the tools, go to 'Add-ons'. Click 'Add'/ 'Add Short-cut'. The tool buttons are located in the 'Add-on Tools' part of the right pane.
5. There is a trial period of 2 weeks. After that you will need a license at a cost of £60 a year (£5 a month).
6. Close and re-open Adobe Acrobat. Open a pdf file.
6. Note: if you are using the new Adobe Acrobat user interface, you might want to revert to the old one by clicking on "View/Disable new Acrobat". A bug in the new version of Adobe fails to display the icons for the buttons.
7. Click on the ©LICENCE button. Enter the license key sent with the email.
